Beyond the economy, Agriculture can play a big role in healthy living of the Nigerian society through wonderful products such as Banana.

    Banana is an edible fruit produced by several kinds of large herbaceous flowering plants The fruit is variable in size, color and firmness, but is usually elongated and curved, with soft flesh rich in starch covered with a rind which may be green, yellow, red, purple, or brown when ripe.

    The scientific names of most cultivated bananas are Musa acuminata, Musa balbisiana, and Musa paradisiaca for the hybrid Musa acuminata M. balbisiana, depending on their genomic constitution. The old scientific name Musa sapientum is no longer used.

    1. Bananas reduce the risk of heart diseases and blood pressure: 
    Hypertensive heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death associated withhigh blood pressure. It refers to a group of disorders that includes heart failure, ischemic heart disease, hypertensive heart disease, and left ventricular hypertrophy (excessive thickening of the heart muscle). 
    Bananas decreases the risk of heart diseases and also lowers blood pressure levels. Bananas are very rich in potassium, which is very vital for the muscle contraction and adequate working condition of the heart and the nervous system. Do you know how much of potassium that you require daily, well it's just 4g and you get this by just eating a banana.

    2. Banana Helps Maintain the bowel system: 
    Bananas and constipation are linked in people's minds, but not in any sort of consistent way.
